About Us

4CastPro was developed by chartered accountant Richard Walliker to fill a gap, observed in his work as FD consultant, between companies such as SAP and IBM at the one end and Sage at the other. 4CastPro was originally developed with direct links to Access Dimensions, and Sage 50(via ODBC), but can link to any other system via a TB in Excel format. As such it is ideal for companies needing to bring in and consolidate data from multiple systems, and in multiple currencies.

It originally grew out of a project to replace a complex spreadsheet model used for monthly reporting and reforecasting in an International Manufacturing Group

The software is written in Visual Studio and is usually run with a Microsoft Access database for portability although it can be run under SQLServer in larger organisations. Using Access enables users to simply tranfer the .mdb/.accdb data file onto a laptop to work off-site.

With our various partnerships we are able to offer a full range of training, setup and implementation, and report writing services
