The Staff Forecast allows you to forecast your employment costs by employee by Department.
Buttons: 'Save NL' button allows you to submit any changes you have made anywhere in the spreadsheet grid back to the database “Employment report” Button – Shows a detailed Employment Report with a year dropdown “NLCodes” button allows you to specify where Employment cost totals are posted for each department “Export” Button – Downloads an excel copy. “Re-Import” Button – Reimports a revised list of Employees allowing you to add new ones and change salaries etc. You can reimport the Employees from an exported spreadsheet named emp.xls. Any changes will be imported. You can also add employees to the bottom of the list. These employees will be added. The Ref field should be left blank for new employees as this is used as a match when reimporting The following fields are imported CC,Surname,Forenames,Jobtitle,DIR,Salary,Pension%,Allowance,Startmnth,EndMnth
The following are available when an individual Company is selected “Delete” Button is used to delete the selected employee “Add” Button is used to add an employee to the forecast. You enter their name in the box provided
Views: BONUS – For entering Bonus payments OTHER PAY – For entering Other Pay amounts % Inc - Allows you to build annual pay increases into your forecast by month.
Input Fields: Entering a start month (1-60) changes when the employee costs commence. Entering a end month (1-60) changes when the employee costs cease. The Dept dropdown column allows you to allocate employees to Departments. The available Departments are those appearing in the ACCTGP selected as the Dept under menu item Admin-Departments Pensionpc – This % field is used for an employer type add on cost eg Pensions Allowance - This field is used for inputting the value of the employees tax free allowance (Not used in web version of program)
User Access The Administrator can determine whether a user has access to the employment page when setting up users
